Our goal for this initial step is to capture key requirements for your landing page, including the objective, target audience, and inbound source from which your prospects will arrive on the page (email, ad, etc.).
Next, I will review your inbound source offer copy and promise, related prior campaigns, and other relevant information resources you provide. Where helpful to achieving our mutual goals, I can perform original research as needed to augment your existing resources.
I will review your style guide, past landing pages, and related assets you may provide to ensure I capture your unique brand voice and preferred style of dialogue in my copy development.
Next, I’ll develop the copy for your landing page, including clear, engaging headline, subhead, offer copy, proof signals, and call to action.
In addition to a text document, I like to include a simple PowerPoint or PDF mockup for your landing page copy. This 1-page layout can often reveal opportunities to optimize the conversion factor of the page, copy, and overall hierarchy of visual elements.
While I may ask your permission to use the final piece as a sample of my work, all copyrights transfer immediately to you upon delivery of the finished copy and payment of my final invoice.
